Procarbon Joins Biochar Europe and the IBTC Council

By becoming part of Biochar Europe, a leading pan-European network of industry, science and policy experts working to drive the sustainable deployment of biochar and related biogenic carbon solutions, we strengthen our commitment to advancing climate-positive technologies and contributing to the carbon-neutral transition. Biochar Europe plays a crucial role in shaping policy, standards and collaboration across the biochar value chain in Europe.

In addition, our membership in the IBTC Council connects Procarbon with a global industry platform working to support the development, standardisation and market adoption of sustainably produced biocarbon, including torrefied and carbonised biomass. The IBTC brings together stakeholders across sectors to promote regulatory alignment, support industrial implementation, and enable biocarbon to scale as a renewable alternative to fossil carbon and a tool for permanent carbon sequestration.
