Accelerating the Shift to Sustainable Carbon Solutions
Our R&D efforts are driven by a clear goal: to accelerate the transition to fossil-free carbon in industrial applications. Since 2017, we’ve focused on developing next-generation biocarbon solutions—pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in carbon technology.

Driving Metallurgical Innovation Through Science, Scale, and Strategic Partnerships

Advanced Binder & Briquette Technology
Procarbon has developed a patented binder system (R56) that enables the production of high-performance, renewable briquettes suitable for metallurgical use—from silica to ferroalloy production. These briquettes replicate the density and reactivity of fossil carbon, providing a viable, CO₂-negative alternative.

From Laboratory to Industry
We’ve tested over 250 binder formulations and now offer scalable solutions. Pilot-scale briquette batches (50–500 mt) are in circulation, with full industrial-scale volumes (25,000 mt/year) planned for 2026. Production will take place in both Europe and South America.
